Oh, Now, Please. STOP!

I'm no longer bored, I'm frustrated. This is silly.

Forecast? 2-4 inches of snow, sleet, freezing rain today, 2-4 overnight...and HIGH wind warnings for over night.

That part, the wind part? Ack. Personally, I'll hope for snow, not the icy stuff, if we've got to have the wind part. I'd love not to have to be concerned about downed power lines.

Of course, you've already guessed, the Community College is closed so my office is too. I've already cleaned off the car and scraped the walks and helped with the parking lot. I'm moving really slowly, because, even with two yoga classes in as many days, my back is giving me warning that it won't take a lot more of this snow shoveling thing...

Fortunately, we had some melting the past two days, so I'm sure that photo indicates to you that there's less on the ground than there was. And I was able to get out to the vet's to pick up the bookwork, so as long as the power holds, I'm not going to be too bored.

But I'd hoped to get to Weight Watchers tonight, and I think I can nix that. (I almost typed KNIX!!)

I did stop in yesterday for a weigh-in. I'm up 1.2 pounds. I was reminded I was wearing different clothing (heavier), and I suggested that arriving LAST week before I'd even had breakfast for my weigh-in (pre-snowstorm) might have provided a lower drop than was really true. Of course, there was also that Sangria Swirl...but I more than made up for that with all the shoveling, right?

Not worrying about it. Promise. There are always ups and downs on any path. We'll see what happens when life returns to normal - if it ever does?

If the snow gods and goddesses are listening? I hear Vancouver really needs and wants this stuff!

Here in Frederick MD we got 29" with the promise/threat of 10" more from this next storm. Do you think we could work with Vancouver to come up with some sort of swap? their yarn for our snow??

Oh, no! I do hope it is snow, if you must have more precipitation. When I lived in St. Louis, I would dread the ice storms. I had a hatchback car, and sometimes, only the back hatch didn't freeze shut and was the only way into my car. Not fun.

I feel your pain, we've got 8" so far today and it shows no signs of stopping. At least I'm at home with plenty of WIPs to work on

It will definitely even out. Clothes make a much bigger difference than you'd think, and if you've been exercising more than usual, your body could very well be hanging on to more water than usual to help those muscles heal (mine certainly seems to do that). Give it a week or two to settle back down to where it was :)

Meanwhile, stay warm and safe!

Oh, be careful with the back. You might just have to sit the next snowstorm out until it melts.

And remember, that our bodies change over the course of the month - even those of us who are old enough to not have more obvious signs may retain water or such. (what does she mean by "such"? Don't ask!) You are 100% correct to attribute it to the noise in the data - the trend is still in the right direction, I'm sure.

Will pray for snow not ice.

I will send reiki for your aches. Please be careful with your back

I'm glad you're not sweating the gain. It could be anything...def not that one drink you had. Remember our bodies can go up and down by 5 pds during the day. It will be fine.

I'm not going in today...boss said he didn't want me to chance it.

Stay warm and safe.
*hugs*

That snow in the photo looks like meringue on top of pie, or that old fashioned 7-Minute Frosting!
