I Love Getting Mail!

And I've gotten a couple of neat things lately: the final print issue of Wool Gathering (never fear, it will be available in electronic format!), and then this cute card and note with poems from Bonnie Sennott of Blue Penninsula fame...

Thank you, Bonnie, for making my day brighter!!

Spring is On the Wing (or Way...)

And the Tonk is delirious!

And there's more to share!

I made a couple of the newest bags for Nana Sadie Rose. Remember the Little Bit Wristlet I made for myself when I was going into the hospital. These little zippered bags are great when you just want to take a few necessities with you when you head out the door.

I'm looking forward to carrying that one on the left to the St. Patrick's Day parade here in town this month! And aren't those pink/gray/yellow owls cute?

I'm also knitting a bit:

This is my In the Land of Oz Shawl - I made one for someone else a couple of years ago, and loved the that's being knit in a wonderful cabernet shaded yarn I picked up a few years ago from Fiber Optics.

And I saw a friends version of French Cancan and just fell head over heels. So you know I had to make one, and I couldn't think of a nicer yarn to knit it in than Knitpicks City Tweed (okay, there are nicer yarns, but I love City Tweed, and I've been wanting to try this Morning Glory shade).

Plus it fit the budget for now...I think it's going to be gorgeous.

I honor the place in you,

which is of love, truth, light, and peace.

When you are centered in that place in you,

and I am centered in that place in me,

we are one.
