I'm Still Here...and I'm Knitting!
I'm especially happy to say that last bit...I'm knitting!! In the two weeks since the surgery, I've finished two Christmas presents, and (drumroll, please?) THESE:
Yes! That's the completed pair of brown tweed socks! I finished the third one the end of last week. (You do remember why I knit 3, don't you?)
My Sweetie was so pleased to have them, he put them right on and wore them!
And that made all the frustration over losing that first sock worthwhile.

Almost nothing makes losing a knitted sock better, but seeing these on their intended feet comes close! I am working on a second sock for DH right now - maybe they'll be done for Christmas?
