It's definitely not been a knitting year for me, that's certain, but I usually do this year in review for my knitting blog, and I'm not going to stop now! With three shoulder surgeries, and the subsequent recoveries, I was a wounded dove for much of the year, but at least the third surgery allowed me knitting ability! YAY! So as a result, I managed to make quite a few items for Christmas gifts. As usual, there are still a couple that haven't yet been received (family Christmas is this coming weekend), so photos of those will have to wait!
But there were four items made that I can share now:
The Peacock Ruffle Scarf, made for My Sweetheart's son's bride:
The Turn A Square hat, made for My Sweetheart:
The Noro Two-Stripe Scarf, made for My Sweetheart (he loves the set!)
And finally, the gray Everyday Mitts, made for my DD:
All of these went pretty quickly - okay the scarf took months - I think the secret to holiday knitting, and maybe gift knitting in general, is to pick something relatively easy, and preferably one-skein, only!
The rest of the year, I did manage to finish off a few items - two pairs of socks for my sweetie, my sister-in-law's Landscape Shawl, and a few other items. But it was slow going in the knitting world for Knitnana. Still, with a bionic shoulder, I anticipate great things in the New Year! LOLOL!
(((hugs)))

That's a pretty impressive list, given the wounded wing! But the best news is that the bionic shoulder is knitting-compatible - hooray!! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all of you!
