Finally Friday!

After what felt like a terribly long week, including two doctor visits - one routine, one to discover I have pleurisy again (it's mild and already waning with an inhaler...but wow, does it zap one's energy!), and waking this morning to an ice storm that wasn't of such epic proportions that it did much more than cause a late opening (10 a.m.) for our office (funny that - the trees bathed in 2 inches of icicles, but the roads clear as the temps rose quickly...still a crystal loveliness that of course my few photos couldn't capture - they were all a loss)

Today was interminable, because everyone must have thought we were closed, the phones barely rang. But it was National Wear Red Day (for Women's Heart Diease) and because it was Friday, our office's casual day and such an inclement-weather-day, I doned this sweatshirt with my jeans:

The shirt is red, and there's even a heart there on the Siamese cat's collar - See?

I managed a couple of rows on Catharina tonight, have debated with a couple of folks whether I'll make another Koolhaas and whether I'll do it in an easier color than the black next time (I will, not right away, and probably in cream!)...Before that, I want to try Shedir

The Trekking sock heel has been turned, and the Feather & Fan pattern decided on. I've managed a few repeats. No, I forgot to take a photo...sorry!

Then there was a bit of a game with The Meezer...

These are without the flash, and they turned out rather well...there were many tho'

that were too blurry to post. She really does move fast for a chubby meeze...
It was PLAYTIME! We don't do nearly enough of that for my tastes!

Stay out of that cold air...that's got to hurt the lungs! I think it is time for winter to be over.

Oh, no! Pleurisy is horrible (I had it once, along with pneumonia, and I still remember it as one of the worst things I've ever been sick with). I hope you feel better very soon! I can't wait to see how Shedir looks :)
