Got Nothin'

Well...not exactly - that would imply that I'd done nothing this weekend and that would be lying...

I've finished one furry thing and started another, knit on the second of my Ingrid's Blues Mock Cable Sock and turned the heel, and made several Nana Sadie Rose bags on order from the National Capital Cat Show last month. The bags you've seen before (tho' there are a couple of neat coffee bags on the link I just gave you - go - look - enjoy!) and the second sock is boring till there are two on two feet to show off.

And the furry things are gifts so I can't show them.

I worked on my client's books, I had dinner with my pal Lynette and knit with her last night, and had lunch with DD and her family. They have jobs! And a house! (ok, it's rented, but still...all in a week! Hooray!) They even are in process of moving IN...Amazing - my DD has worked hard this week.

So still, I got nothin' to show...

But I can tell you a funny story. I was working on my client's books today, the first "fuzzy thing" sitting on the desk next to me. Just enough of it was barely off the edge of the desk. Along came The Meezer (who hates it when I'm busy doing ANYTHING except paying attention to her).

The next thing I knew? Well, the fuzzy thing was being carried off down the length of the office. I grabbed the camera and tried to take photos, but couldn't get a darn thing that was decent! (oh...well, there WAS that shot of her 'tocks as she straddled the fuzzy thing as she was dragging it out of the room!)

And of course, if I showed you those photos, it would be obvious what the fuzzy thing IS...and what it IS is secret till after Christmas...

I have to tell you, tho', The Meezer was triumphant that she'd KILLED the fuzzy thing! I laughed so hard I thought I'd never get my breath.

(The fuzzy thing is safe now, not dead at all, but don't tell The Meezer, okay?)

After that, for some bizarre reason, she started licking the arm of my chair. We've been having a "thing" about tasting things that are not normal recently, I have no idea what (if anything) it means!

But the other day? This was the shot I managed to get. My fingers were apparently quite good...

And here? This is today...

It went on for a long time...

My Mom has great taste in chairs...

Sounds like the Meezer is going to need her very own fuzzy thing!

The Meezer is just priceless! And I agree! She needs her very own fuzzy thing, though I imagine it's about half her size!
