Veteran's Day
It takes special people to put their lives on hold to serve. And those of us in Knitnana's world all honor the ones who do.

Last night I blocked my Koigu Chevron Scarf. All of you who assured me that it would block flat, thank you. I believed you. And you were right. Now of course the hard part is, I have to part with it, as this is a Christmas gift for someone lucky.
I'm still planning on making another one for myself - later - of Roxanne's lovely, yummy yarns (Ice Blues and Toreador, from the Art Walk Sock Yarn Club).
This weekend (and last week) has been devoted to finishing up the bags from the National Capital Cat Show. I'm done!! WHOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!
And now can focus on remaining orders since then and the Oak Grove Elementary School PTA Craft Show this coming Saturday...it's bags, bags, bags, all the time at Knitnana's house...
I think The Meezer's a bit put out, tho' - I did finally put a fake sheepskin bed on the floor in the sewing room, as it's chilly here. She's joined me once in awhile, but mostly likes to nest on the down comforter in the bedroom...
Go 'way

Your work is beautiful (as usual) and so is the lovely Meezer. Huggs.
Pretty scarf! Hmm - maybe a small heater would warm the Meezer's heart and your feet.
Wow, that Chevron scarf is stunning. Good Job
Just stopping by to say hello I have been so slack lately with my own blog and also stopping by the blogs linked from mine, so I am trying to fix that :)
What a georgous scarf! And those bags are all so cute! Meezer I agree...I'd rather be curled up on the comforter too! :)
good for you getting all those bags done & a gift!
I can see why you'd have such a hard time letting go of that scarf, it's gorgeous!
