One More Thing...Or Maybe Two...

The other day, Carole was talking about fries and fry sauce. I had no idea what she was talking about (and she enlightened me...it's apparently ketchup and mayo combined...sorry that just sounds weird, Carole!).

But I told her it made me think of Nachos. I got a hankering. I rarely do, but sometimes it's just smarter to go with it, rather than fight the urge. I promised Carole that I'd post a photo if I succumbed to my craving...So tonight, after the Opera (we saw Hansel & Gretel and it was delightful! Great job, Opera Roanoke!) we stopped by a local restaurant and I ordered this...

Their recipe has changed in the long, long time since I had these last. This is more taco salad (no dripping, melted cheese) and we decided that we like the old-fashioned kind better...(sigh) So NOW I suppose I won't stop craving it, till I really get it?

It was also laundry day. Someone dislikes my taking the sheets and blankets off the bed...

At least you left me your t-shirt, Mommie...

Nachos! I want some nachos--but I'm with you--the old fashioned kind.

Ooh. Now I'm craving nachos. Of course the type with dripping cheese and melting sour cream and guacamole. *drool*

I want the cheese! Give me the cheese! And guacamole. Lots of it.

Too bad it's 5:30 in the morning and I can't feed the need...

OK, you could make some... just sayin'. Being from CA, my version is the cally-mex one, but all you need is some good quality tortilla chips, your favorite salsa, and some grated cheese (I like sharp cheddar). You can add green peppers, chopped olives, sour cream, guacamole, etc. to your heart's content and that craving will be behind you and you can get back to more serious pursuits, like the Meezer is suggesting:)
