Blocking Lacy Prairie - WOW!

We had a block party this morning! First time for using the KnitPicks lace blocking wires - note to self - order more T-pins! We were fine for this shawl, as the edge is straight, but I can see where with the points of lacier shawls, I'll need a lot more of them...

I realized AFTER I'd gotten it pinned down, that I had the public side facing the bed. Sorry...!

Point end - I used 6 wires (2 each side). The wires substantially cut down the amount of time it takes to pin (tho' remember this is a straight edge shawl, so that might not be the case with scallops or points to pin out! I'll find out soon enough with Catharina...Maybe in October?

The Peace Fleece smells kinda funky when it's wet, but I didn't notice an odor while knitting it, so I don't expect one when it's dry...and of course, I had lots of help while I blocked...

Mom, you're running out of bed, here...

OH GOODIE, Mom! Now we can get to the most important stuff! I thought you'd never finish fiddling!

Beautiful!! The Meezer was being very circumspect - I suspect that my two would have been right in the middle of the shawl!

The Lacy Prarie is beautiful! I've started it twice and lost count but maybe I should try it again.
