Finished Objects! Whew!
So the WendyKnits orders had to get done, and for all intents and purposes this is the last of them (if you have an order with another bag - like the Mavis or the Sadie - or you ordered in July, please give me a bit longer, okay? There are only a few of you, now!):
I can't believe that taking this photo is more important than my dinner The Meezer
And then, during the news tonight I finally (FINALLY!) cast off my Peace Fleece Lacy Prairie Shawl! This is the biggest FO of 2007 to date. I'm so happy. Here it is in it's unblocked state...
and it won't get blocked a minute before this weekend. I ordered the blocking wires from Knitpicks 4 weeks ago, and the first shipment has never arrived. They mailed out another set last Monday, and it's supposedly sitting in the same shipment facility that the first ones are still sitting in...I'm praying they get here this weekend, as I'd really like to use this gorgeous shawl...Fingers crossed!
Whew! Now I'm off to box up those bags...

I wish you had those wires. I would love to see how they work. My shawl has nice little points in the edge.
The shawl is lovely, even unblocked!
Love the shawl, I hope it gets much use in happy health! I will be looking forward to hearing about how the blocking wires work as well.
Gorgeous is right! I love this! Congrats! You can use the string method if your wires dont come you know!
So guess what I just bought myself for my September birthday present? (a bit early but I figure by the time Anne catches up it will be mid September!)
Yup, the Bee STOLE (which I love so much!) in the Tupelo Gold colorway! Yup, sisters under the skin!:)
That shawl is wonderful. I love the simplicity of it.
Such a lovely shawl! I just adore the color! And those bags are all so cute sitting there. You are just amazing! :)
You are one busy 'bag lady'! LOL

You did an awesome job, and now I am interested in making one.
