Art Walk Sock Club & Varia
My photo isn't great. But those shades of melon to salmon with milk chocolate and caramel are just to-dye for! :) I'm just happy happy happy ! What great colors...
I was so in love that immediately grabbed the fabric to see that the colors are the same...so I asked Roxanne to dye up a skein of this same wool/bamboo blend in her Icy Blues colorway. What will I make? At the moment I'm thinking something along the lines of the Chevron Scarf - except that I've got to get Diana's pattern she used, as it doesn't curl in upon itself. Won't that be all spiffy - a scarf and tote in perfect, matching shades? You really need to join up with the Art Walk Sock Club - it's a month-by-month commitment so you can opt out if you need to...(which I might have to do now that I've done the equivalent of two for September with the Icy Blues!!!) lololol!
I also wanted to thank everyone for their comments on the Lacy Prairie Shawl - it's from Folk Shawls by Cheryl Oberle. I have more Peace Fleece on the way for another shawl from the book! (I cannot help myself, I love this yarn...)
And then...(as if that's not enough?) I joined Anne of Green Gables KAL and read-along for October...I am ashamed to admit that this series I have never read! No, I don't yet know what I'll knit along with...but it shouldn't be all that hard, right? Socks? Scarves? Shawls? Mitts? I'm sure something I like to knit will be appropriate! Want to re-read an old favorite? Or like me, didn't get to read this as a girl? Come join us!

I joined the Anne blog too! It's going to be awesome!
Is Diana's pattern a freebie cause I would love it too! I have some scarves in my future and I'd love for them to stay scarf-y, not tube-y. :)
Another sock club! Lalalalala I can't hear you . . .
Thanks for the heads-up about the Anne KAL. I've never read it either.
Wow that fabric is really georgous! I'm glad you're making a bag for yourself...you deserve it! :)
That yarn and fabric is certainly delicious! I love the blend of colors.
That fabric is really going to make a gorgeous bag. I hope you post pictures of the finished bag when you get it done!
What gorgeous yarn and fabric! The chevron scarf with the yarn and icy blues will be fab!
