Moving Right Along...

Well, I've learned that when I set a mileage limit for starting a new relationship, I really should stick to my guns! I know the fastest thing to "kill" one is distance...(really SHOULD have learned that a time or two along the way!)

The gentleman I had a date with has decided the distance between our homes is too far. Of course, I'd thought of that a time or two in the week or so we communicated.

What do I really regret about it?

That I won't have as many opportunities to visit Mosaic as I would have with the excuse of a date to make the drive! **Grins**

(But then again, perhaps my credit cards will appreciate that...lololol!!!)

But I do wish him well. He's a nice guy and will make someone happy one day.

Wow! That yarn shop waited *5 years* for their Koigu order. I think that's a record!

(((hugs)))to you, Sallee!

And isn't it fun to have had a good time and to not have to worry about follow up? Sometimes a one-shot date can make for much fun and pleasant memories. [grin] Glad you had a good time; VERY sorry for your loss of more trips to the yarn store!

Glad your heart wasn't involved yet. Too bad about the yarn shop though. How is the new shop that opened near where you live?

A good positive attitude!!! Too bad about the yarn shop though. Next trip we can make it as a group. I think Nikki would be game.

Well, if it's any consolation, I'll be your longest long distance boyfriend, if that helps any. :) So, if that's the case, they're all CLOSER to you now.

That's too bad. But at least this happened before you got all involved and stuff. There's some consolation there, I suppose.

Alas. But I'm glad you seem in good spirits about it!

I dunno, the guy kinda sounds like a butthead. I mean with the internet and everything people who live on different continents can "date" but this guy won't drive to the other side of town? Buh bye! There's someone else who will be much more worth it for you hunny :)

His loss! On the bright side, you just saved him thousands of dollars that would have gone towards yarn in the future! Maybe he sensed that...

Well, his loss, but at teh same time, good thing that he realized he had a distance issue *before* y'all's hearts were involved.

A fun date can be just that, a fun date! I'm glad you had one. :-D

I keep telling myself that one of these days I'll feel more into that idea, but ya know? I'm pretty happy with kittens and yarn right about now.
