About Me
- Name: Nana Sadie
- Location: Virginia, United States
I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb! I'm learning to be a passionate paper fanatic, an art journaling, junk journaling, paper planner/traveler's notebook nut. Please visit my shop at http://nanasadiesattic.etsy.com. My Knitnana blog has been retired, upon the death of it's best-known mascot, Meezer. So http://nanasadiesplace.blogspot.com is the blog home I'm nurturing now.

Prayers sent.
Such a senseless tradgedy. I am stunned by the disregard for human life.
*hugs*
Oh, how awful - I'm so sorry this happened, and that you have such personal sorrow from it.
This is so very tragic and senseless. I am praying for everyone touched by this.
:(
Oh, horrors!! I thought you were probably geographically close, but didn't realize emotionally as well... my prayers for all. It is still numbing to try to absorb, and senseless as well.
Hugs to you from a fellow Hokie. Today was HORRIBLE for us!

I'm still stunned by this senseless tragedy. My heart goes out to all those who are affected by it.
My brother is a Hokie (I'm a Wahoo) and we're so saddened and horrified by this. We're lucky in that all our friends' kids who go to Tech are safe.
We send our kids off to college and worry about whether they will get along with their roommates, get to class when they need to....
...never would we think to worry about something so awful. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the families.
our prayers are with you my dear. you were the first person I thought of when I heard about it.
you have all our love to help re strengthin your community
