I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb! Looks very inviting. And wise to listen to your body and rest it when it needs to.
I love to just sit and read (well, honestly, thumb through some days) in the evening and am still partial to magazines even with all the info at my fingertips on the Internet. Nice selection.
The Knitter is great, sometimes it nice to chill out and browse the knitting possibilities!
