Day Three of Four Days Off...

Have to admit that there's been precious little housekeeping this weekend and even less cooking.

This has, yet again, been a crafting weekend...The Big Sis's sock is OTN:
(Looks a lot like mine, huh? I don't think mine started with a teal stripe, though. I should check!)

And here are a couple of Nana Sadie Rose bags ready for shipment:
I just adore those lilacs in the Mera up front, but the solid black Knitnana lined in turquoise, orange, and coral Koi fish is just striking! I was delighted to be able to do a stack button on that one...

I've been trying all fall to get The Meezer to settle down under the sewing table and keep me company. This afternoon, I decided to be sneeky: I dropped a few 'nip leaves on the purr pad.
That was all she wrote...

I'm NOT stoned, Mommie...

Che and Turbo just got heated cat beds, in what may be a futile hope that they will stay off our bed and let us sleep at night. Is TM's lovely leopard item a cat bed?

There's been some kitty imbibing here, too. Just before I came to the computer, I sprinkled the cardboard scratching pad with fresh catnip, and told DH to get more catnip on the next Pet Smart trip.

Catnip is invaluable for mellowing out our warrior princess, Victoria. The other cats deserve a break!

You never fail to amaze me with your bag creations. Wow!

no, she's not high on nip at all!

(ps - Hi! I gave up on getting caught up on my blogs so I wiped the slate clean and am starting fresh)

Ha! She is, too :) The bags are gorgeous, and the sock looks great. Housekeeping will always be there another time!

Ha, ha... I love that photo of the Meezer.. you could try a heating pad under the spotted cushion if needed as winter wears on. The sock is coming along nicely, and it sounds like this has been a productive sewing weekend as well.

That lilac bag is just gorgeous!!! I wish I could have spent the weekend crafting - I did too much cooking and had visitors for one day too many.....
