Drive-By Posting
A really fast commentary on Anne's Spiralucious cowl: Cast on Friday night and finished tonight (this along with doing lots of laundry, cutting bags, doing the vet's books, and some Christmas shopping, as well as celebrating DD's birthday today. So it's a really fast knit.
Choose a lovely yarn (since I used the Blue Sky Alpaca/Silk blend, which is a sport-weight). Anne's pattern says 150 yards, but there's 146 in a skein of the yarn I used, and I had quite a bit left over.
It's a fun knit. And there's a gift, all finished...this far ahead of the holidays? For me? That's a huge accomplishment!
(But you'll have to wait for photos...I'll block it this week, and post photos to my notebook on Ravelry, as the person this is intended for can't get there to see it.)

Since you so nicely linked to the pattern in a previous post, I had to check it out :o)
I'll definitely cruise by your project folder on Ravelry once you've posted the photos.
Isn't it a fun knit? I'm definitely going to have to knit another one (and keep it away from Rick!) for my SIL for Christmas...
Fast knitting! Anne writes really well written patterns which is such a plus. Looking forward to seeing it!
