TGIF!
I'm pleased to say that I finished these today:
Trekking 172 Feather & Fan Socks knit on size 1.5 Hiya Hiya bamboos. Love them.
And I cast on for these:
Knotty Gloves in BMFA STR in Mustang Sally. Let me tell you, I'm in love love love with this ribbing. I have never been so happy with the quality of the rib. I don't think it's me. This yarn is scrumptious and has such stitch definition!
;)
Plus the color is divine. I'm thinking all kinds of things I want in this colorway.
(Hope it doesn't get retired...but I can't get it right now, since I'm determined to calm down my mad purchasing behaviors...)
Anyway...this weekend will be sewing again. With a bit of cooking and knitting in between the chores, too.
Hope you have a good one!!

Those socks are gorgeous -- and I love that red, too (inherently warm, doncha think?). Your weekend plans sound divine, I may have to take a page from your book :)
Pretty socks - I love feather & fan - and your Mustang Sally red is knitting up just as nice as you thought it would..
That Mustang Sally is beautiful!
Yes, I do like that red, too. Have a great rest of the weekend!
Your new socks are GORGEOUS, that's the word!!! Lovely color and great work on these Sallee.
I hope you enjoyed some warming soups etc...I'm off to the kitchen to make Cream of Carrot Soup from NJFV and some Cheddar Biscuits to go with...how does that sound?
Ms. Mitz sends her best to the gang. She's feeling a lot better. Running for the food bowl again, good sign, right Meez!!!! Mr. C is back to stealing her sleep box (the good behaviour didn't last, he was such a gentleman for few days) LOL.
Hugs, G
PS: Any suggestions how to block a wool and hemp blend lace shawl without one of those 'fancy' boards you have? I'm kind of stumped how to progress.
Mustang Sally is a great colorway and I hope you can get more soon. The F&F socks are gorgeous too! :)
