Quick SOS 08 Post

Today was a challenge confronting an HMO with it's own stupidity (I know, it's really a lost cause, but I feel compelled to try...)

And as a reward for enduring in spite of the futility of it all (as well as attempting to lower my blood pressure just an "ooch"), I stopped and picked up a bottle of Columbia Crest Merlot.

Two glasses later, sewing was off the agenda, and sock knitting on it...and when I got close to bedtime, I realized it was going to be a late night, because I could not stop till I'd finished EZ's Stretchy Sewn Cast Off:
Voila! Pink Granite Summer of Socks 08 sock #1 is finished! (#2 is already cast on)

I don't think I've ever knit a sock so fast in my life!

I do not understand this human fascination with covering the feet...I do not understand it at all... The Meezer

Wow that was fast!!! I see other people who do that and it just blows my mind. Like Wendy of Wendy Knits. She knits so stickin fast. I thought she just had super human abilities but apparently you have them as well. :)

The sock turned out really nice! You got a lot more done last night than I did - perhaps the difference between merlot and sunset blush??? {g}

Oh Meezer, I can totally relate. Personally I like to tug at Humanoid's Foot-Covers. You should try it, it drives em crazy teeeheee...Looking good dear Meezer.

Tell your mom that my mom said NOT to have too much wine when I sewing machine or knitting needles are on the agenda. Sometimes a CAT astrophe can follow LOL.

Hugs and Headbonks! Mr. C, Ms. Mitz and our Mom

Excellent sock! And I know the feeling; last night I was compelled to stay up to finish the leg on the second of this pair of socks; it's on to the heel today :)

Amazing! The look fantastic!

I'm envious of your wine. I'm on a wine moratorium now until I can find some without sulfates. :-(
