Wow! My mailbox held the prizes from Rebecca's two contests that I won a couple weeks ago - just look at that wonderful Socks That Rock yarn and pattern, and the Debbie MacComber Knit Along book! I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb! Out of curiosity...what size needles does that pattern recommend for Socks That Rock and how many do they say to cast on?? I have some STR from my One Skein Pal and I'm using 2.5mm.
