My Sweetheart's Socks...
are better than 50% done!
This was taken mid-week, last week, and I've finished it and am well into the foot of the second sock now.
The weather has turned colder...he asked me today at lunchtime when his socks would be finished. Hmm...I have a show in two weeks. So the sewing machine will be going at full-tilt between now and then. I bet that second sock will get done the weekend of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church Craft Show, tho'. I'll have plenty of time in the car up and back to knit a bit!

Our men are fun to knit for, except they are big-footed rascals. Their socks always take extra time, eh?
Looks great! A good manly but not khaki or grey color. My husband has size 12 wide feet, so I won't be knitting him any socks (it would take over 2 400 yd skeins!). But I will knit him a hat this year. He doesn't wear sweaters, which is just as well as he is size 46 extra long.
