Who's Teaching Whom?
So finally I grabbed the yarn and pulled, and sure enough it was in his mouth...he nom-nommed a bit, but let it go. I pushed him down off the chair and proceeded to knit...until I suddenly realized there wasn't much tension at the "end of the line..."
He bit it through!
I might admit here, that having had mature and elderly female cats for the past 20 years has spoiled me rotten...The Meezer wouldn't think of doing this to a skein of sock yarn.
I don't see what the fuss is about..."
Kittens play with yarn...yarn is for chewing and chasing, what part of that don't you get, Mom?

Oh oh! There's definitely a learning curve for both of you--good luck!!!
Oh my! Maybe he needs a tear strip of his own? He sure is a beautiful boy! I'm sure you will work it out...maybe Meezer can give some "mature" advice about how Mommy gets upset when you eat her hobbies?
*hugs*
Even with the interferences:-) it looks great!
I feel for you. Just as I was congratulating myself on how the kittens were ignoring the singles spooling off the bobbins while I plied last night, Wilson opened a can of cat food and they dashed straight through them, breaking both.
I think it might be easier to train Wilson about when to open cat food!
He was just getting your yarn ready for a spit splice! Helpful, helpful kitty...
He does look as if he's been unfairly singled out! lol
i've been there and done that with quincy. thank goodness he outgrew that phase! here's hoping yours does too.
Hehee, now you see why drawstring bags are good!
Also, I think I have that exact same yarn! (actually I accidentally bought it twice)
At least TonkaTonk is in the same solar system as adulthood. Motorcycle Kitten is only 13 weeks. I had to fetch him out of the toilet this morning (Yuck!)
