About Me
- Name: Nana Sadie
- Location: Virginia, United States
I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb! I'm learning to be a passionate paper fanatic, an art journaling, junk journaling, paper planner/traveler's notebook nut. Please visit my shop at http://nanasadiesattic.etsy.com. My Knitnana blog has been retired, upon the death of it's best-known mascot, Meezer. So http://nanasadiesplace.blogspot.com is the blog home I'm nurturing now.

There is always something to spark one's fancy. Those are lovely and I adore the names and the idea behind them. Beautiful spirits indeeed. And those mitts are just TDF. :)
Oh, NO!! I did not need to see those... ;)
The mitts are gorgeous! Don't mess with queue, woman! Must stay on track...
I thought I sensed a project coming on when I saw those links!
Yes, I saw the Spirits! I just got a Branwen to put together with either Corbi or Korppi to knit the Severus socks on Ravelry. One of those Ravens has a little purple in it, which to me is more Snape-ish, but the other one has a the slightest hint of green, which goes with Slytherin House colors. Branwen, of course, is spirited from Black.
No, I hadn't seen those! And I didn't need to! My stash & projects are already going to require reincarnation but ooooh. So pretty. I love the muted shades and that pattern! Sublime.
