Better Late Than Never?

Tonight the sewing machine is silent...the bags are packed. The kitties are apprehensive. A car-load of bags went to DC in July. Today the fabrics and "booth architecture" made their way there (many thanks to the family member and then the friend who helped out with this). Tommorow? Sis-in-law and I will head north (hopefully Hannah won't dog our heels over the weekend? At least not too badly! Even tho' we all need the rain...)

I am remiss:

I promised a photo of the new haircut. I'm still learning to live with it. I think, most of the time, that I like it. Then something will happen and I'll go - YE-UCK.

lolol
Tonight it's okay. But just barely. (and oh, sorry, but no makeup this time around!)

I bought a treat for myself today - have you seen Habitat? I am such a fan of Jared's. Even if it took me forever to knit Koolhaas.

But I wonder. Will I decide that this hairstyle isn't suitable for these wondrous knit hats? I surely hope not...If so? This hair is so going to be grown out again to all one (shorter) length! In a heartbeat!

I love Habitat so much? I might have to make one for a Christmas present...but I can't say just who the lucky recipient might be...
*wink*

The haircut is lovely. The hat is adorable.

We'll keep fingers and paws crossed for a great weekend of good weather and even better sales.

Your hair looks great! I don't know how it looked before this cut, but I like it. Very soft and feminine.

Love the hair - you should feel good about it!

Midwestern folk know about "hat hair". That's what you have when you take off the winter hat you have worn to survive. It's a fact of life. Don't change your hair for it.

Best wishes and hugs for a successful cat show.

Love the haircut. It frames your face beautifully. Good luck at the show...wish I could walk enough to come see you. *sigh* Maybe next year. :)

the haircut looks great... maybe new eyeglass frames would update the look for you and give you the different look that you were thinking just the hair would do...

To Anonymous: While I know it's not fashionable, I can't go to smaller frames, as I have a visual impairment that requires I use huge frames to accomodate my levels of magnification.

But I always liked frames BIGGER, anyway!
lolol!

The haircut is wonderful and looks terrific on you. :) Habitat and Koolhaas were amazing (that was the first time I've seen Jared Flood's knits).

Hope you have a great cat show!

didn't mean to post as anonymous! I guess I forgot to log in - sorry! my husband also prefers larger frames - we just switched him over to some nice metal frames that were just enough to give him the "updated" look he was looking for...just a thought. Each time I go from long hair to short hair I have that trouble of looking in the mirror and wondering if it's what I want to "look" like and several times I have "completed" the transformation with new eyeglasses.

anyway... i think the cut is perfect for hats - the hair will just tuck perfectly out under the cuff to frame your face. also, i love all your socks... i am still on my first pair! good luck at your cat show...

Sallee, I think your haircut suits you. Perhaps you're just not accustomed to it, having had it at one (longer) length for all this time.
