TGIF - Remember That "Sleep" Comment?
Oh, I'm getting some sleep. I woke this morning to a 101.2 temperature. Me, not the outside.
Chills, aches, a bit of a lump in my throat...I called in sick to work. I called the doctor. I dragged myself to the early (9:15) appointment.
The verdict?
STREP.
(sigh)
Antibiotics, and sleep. I'll catch you on the other end of this.

What?! I am so sorry you are sick, especially during a heat (or even 'warm') wave. Get a lot of rest and be well soon.

So hope you get better soon! Whenever my hubby gets a sore throat he gargles with Listerine every hour and drinks green tea. He doesn't stay sick very long. Congrats on winning Wendy's contest. Maybe it'll give you some good summer reading:~D
