Fearless Knitting? Yup.
I've mentioned it before, shown you the yarn, but I forgot to mention my "Fearless Knitting" project for 2008 in my plans and resolutions post down below!
I'm gonna knit my first Fair Isle! Remember the Knitpicks Palette yarn in Petal? That wasn't pink? That I bought for this:
I just ordered the Blush and the White colorways. I'll decide which of the three colors goes best with the purples, grays, and blacks I ordered first (and love!)...
OH. I also ordered my Harmony Interchangeables and 3 hat-sized fixed circulars, too. I had to use up gift certificates and cash from Christmas - most of which I earmarked right at Knitpicks!
I realize it is going to take a bit to get everything...but once they get here?
I'm going to be a Fearless Knitter
*wink*

More power to you!
Have Fun! Fair Isle can be very addicting. It's a blas to watch the design appear magically as each round gets finished.
Me too! Fair Isla - Me too!
I'm warning you, colorwork is a warm and delicious addiction! Be careful, the shawl might be pushed to the back burner once again if you don't exercise caution. ;-)
Good for you!
It's a plan! Please let us know not only which colour you choose, but your response to how you thought these would look. We were all so surprised last time at the difference.
I can't believe you haven't done fair isle! You'll love it. And the harmony needles are fabulous.
If I (and all my knit recipients)didn't live in a climate where Fair Isle is about as useful as t*ts on a bull, I'd join ya! But if it's ok, I'll knit vicariously thru you :)
Go, go, go! What an inspiration!
