Thank you Grump!
What can I say? I am so with you Grumperina
I am a lace, shawl, scarf, hat, sock knitter.
And proud to be there! ;)
(Maybe someday, I'll find a sweater I truly want to knit, but till then, I think I'm a "Complete Knitter" just like I am...)

Me too! Me too! jumps on bandwagon
I'm with you. I knit a sweater once, and it was a nice experience, but no more guilt for NOT knitting another. I'm becoming more of a spinner than a knitter, and that's ok, too. Stick to your guns, lady!
I think everyone should knit what they like to knit and what they will use. Knitting is so versatile that knitter's shouldn't be pigeonholed.
I do like to be able to knit sweaters, although I haven't knit many. I live in a warm climate! But I also like to knit scarves and rectangular stoles. To each her own!
You're an amazing knitter just as you are. :)
I'm with you! Sweaters just don't appeal to me, though there are some gorgeous designs that I'd really like to wear. The problem is in the actual knitting. Maybe I can find someone who will knit me a sweater if I knit them a shawl!
I'm only an occasional sweater knitter - and then I never wear them very much anyway.
Well, I thought I could say that I am not a shawl knitter but that quickly changed!
What makes us knitterly happy is what counts.
You Be the Knitter you want to be!!! It's you're knitting, after all!
As long as you knit and it makes you happy why is it anyone's concern what you knit or how "real" you are? Knit what moves YOU, period :)
