G & The Mitz - Where ARE You?
Where ARE you? You are terribly missed (at the very least by me). Let me know how to reach you...siameezercat gmail com. With the AT and the Dot in the proper places, of course.
Birdsong discussed in a recent post the worry we go through when our internet pals disappear. It upset her enough that we exchanged real-world contacts. Another blogger I read has recently had a major health crisis and her DD is trying to keep us all updated, but as of yesterday it had been several days with nothing new...I hate "losing" folks. I do come to think of my internet friends as real friends, so it's wrenching when they disappear.
And G...in answer to your question, The Meezer is in hiding because her reality has been rearranged. We had a rather sudden physical move from one part of town to another. Siamese do not like change. So she's gone "undercover." lolol!

I hope the tear strip made it ok...
I know what you mean. "The Rocket" disappeared nearly a year ago. "The Crafty Modster" hasn't been heard from since October (oh, but I've just remembered I have her real life address). The vanishing, it is hard. And a bit scary.
Hey, kind of a funny post when I just came back to tell you that i had been gone for a while. I'm hoping to be a little more constant.
Yeah, some Siamese don't take change well. Poor Aoife hid in her travel carrier for a while when we moved her to the new place. Poor kitties :)
I understand...my blog friends are my life lines and when they disappear I worry.
Hope Meezer comes out soon!

How funny, I just discovered you today and you've posted about something near and dear to my heart.
I have a lot of internet friends all over the world. I worry about them when they don't show up on blogs. Many of us have exchanged real life info and keep tabs on each other. We've designated people to let them know if something happens to one of us.
I've been lucky enough to meet a handful of these special people, including one in Paris! I even met my (2nd) husband at Yahoo personals; we met over three years ago and married a year ago Thanksgiving.
My grandmother lived for almost 91 years and saw so much change in her life. In the 70s, she asked my mom (her only child, and we four were her only grandchildren--and we called her Nana) "have the girls written lately?" In the 80s and 90s, "have the girls called lately?", and in her later years, "have the girls emailed today?" I miss her so much.
Emails & blogs bind us together.. Some of us exchange emails weekly, daily and even several times a day (Hi! Sallee {g}) My computer and the internet are my life-line to the world and to my friends. My three best friends are via the internet and I've only met one of them in person but I cherish all of them (along with those who I connect with via unlimited LD).. Life is too short to live it without friends!
