Knitting Varia & Thank You!

Ok. Just FYI. I've gotten a lot of good comments on the scarf below - sooo...I'm frogging. Rippit, rippit...I'll give you a photo of size 13s and this yarn as soon as I have enough rows to see if I'll like it! Thanks for everyone's input - I do believe you all are right!

Just also wanted to mention that yesterday evening, after sewing all day, I picked up my Lacevember project (Big Sis's Catharina shawl) and knit to the point where I have only 36 more rows of pattern to go. Of course, THEN there's the edging. But still - I've made progress. And what was I watching while I did this? Fried Green Tomatoes which is one of three movies from the FiberFlix list for November! I say I don't multi-task, but when it comes to KALs, I'm pretty good at it!

Here's tip...teach yourself to purl back backwards for the border. Turning and turning and turning the shawl will drive you batty if you don't!!! (It's purl because it's a garter stitch lace for the border!)

You are amazing with those KALs! I can barely get enough done to make all my deadlines so I never join any.

Glad you made progress on the shawl. Sorry you had to frog the scarf but I find when you frog it knits up quicker the second time.

Well, I'm a little behind in reading, but glad to see the wonderful wintry colors...I don't know how you keep up with the KALs and your business and still have time to knit!

I'm going to try to make it to the craft fair tomorrow. I have another blogging friend who will be selling there. Maybe I'll see you. :)
