Remember back in the spring, when I was focussing on not buying yarn? When I was agonizing that because of the Yarn Focus Challenge, I could only buy yarn one day out of the month? Well, this is the payoff! Wow...Yarny Goodness...3 skeins of Wildfoote in black orchid, two of Trampoline Stretch by Skacel, and a skein of Knitpicks Gossamer in Sunset (which isn't gonna be for socks - but I think I'll make one of the Elizabeth I lace scarves from it!). My best and biggest thank yous go out to
Rebekah for all her hard work - I know this had to be a challenge, in more ways that one! And btw...if you scroll
ALL the way down to the bottom of the blog you'll find my ticker still ticking away - I haven't started buying indescriminately again. I'm still buying on one day each month...making sure that this is truly the stuff I want, then doing it!

The Meezer approves of the additions to stash from the Yarn Focus Challenge, but wishes I'd move things so she can look out the window! The blinds were closed today against the heat - it was 101 degrees when I was driving home from work! Thank goodness for A/C!
OH and more exciting news...and I was the (very, very) lucky winner of
KnitYoga's Bloggaversary Contest....I'll show you what I won when it gets here! From across "the Pond!" Thank you, KnitYoga! (((hugs)))

Very pretty yarns! But it's almost too hot to knit even with AC. Congratulations on winning the contest.
Mmmm. I really like Wildfoote myself, so I know that you'll enjoy it. Your kittycat fabric bags are really neat, as well; you must sell a lot of them at cat shows.
Yuck, sorry for the heat... but isn't your luck running good, all the same?! I love the mere thought of Black Orchid, how about a shawl with a beaded edge or something equally elegant? I am drooling over the shawl pattern in the new Interweave Knits which only calls for one ball of Misti Alpaca (or something like it).
Yay! Yarn! New yarn and projects to be started really makes for a wonderful day!
No blog yet and can't seem to email you. I'm interested in one of your bags but wanted to see the other color it's offered in. Please email me when you have time.

Thanks,

Me again. Since I just noticed that you have to approve before something appears on your blog,
please don't publish my email addy.
Thanks so much.
Janet
Congrats on the contest win and the goodies from the YFC. Has it cooled down at all yet??
I'm so glad you like them!
