"What's It?" Continues...
After my aunt died, earlier in the week, I decided that the way to honor her was to buy a hank of Cherry Tree Hill yarn in the colorway Green Mountain Madness - CTH is hand-dyed in Vermont, home of my aunt, and all the sisters were enamoured of the Green Mountains of Vermont. My aunt also knit socks, which I was surprised to learn this past spring! So I shall make a pair of socks from the scrumptious green and blue colorway you see below. And while I was at it, I have been eyeing the sultry shadings of Java for months and months. So I went ahead and got a hank of that as well. I got this on ebay, but the seller has a website as well...
Then in our continuing puzzle of "What's it?" Here is another visual clue...Now can you guess what I'm making??
Leave me a comment! Take a guess!

gloves???
possibly a striped stegasaurus????
Maybe I'm just in the weird mood, but it looks like an udder cozy to me.
:)
looks like a little stripped hat with fingers... i'm thinking "mowhawk" hat?
The socks sound like a GREAT tribute! As for the thing-y. um, a chicken hat? A Catnip cozy?
Hmmmm, could it be a beginning of a Christmas stocking?
i think it's a really funky way out hat! I agree that buying that sock yarn was a great tribute to your aunt and the yarn looks gorgeous. Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your comment.
I think it's a crown hat! Great colors!
A tea cozy? Glad you found something to make in honor of your aunt, and of course you will think loving thoughts while making AND wearing those socks.
It looks like a stegasaurus dog coat to me. I want to make one, and that's what I imagine one would look like!
I'm guessing a hat or a sweater. :)
Lovely sock yarn - hope you have fun knitting socks with it!
Cute kitties on the previous post.
Have a great evening!
Looks like a dino hat to me, but I like the idea of a dino cat sweater as well. :-)
That is a great way to honour yur aunt.
As for the knit, I haven't a clue!!
