Two of the shawl patterns I ordered, Victorian Rose and Weeping Willow (from Two Old Bags), and the palest pink laceweight merino from Joslyn's. This is such a sweet color (rose, it's called, and I'd say it's the palest sweetheart rose) and is just so soft!

I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb!
