About Me
- Name: Nana Sadie
- Location: Virginia, United States
I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb! I'm learning to be a passionate paper fanatic, an art journaling, junk journaling, paper planner/traveler's notebook nut. Please visit my shop at http://nanasadiesattic.etsy.com. My Knitnana blog has been retired, upon the death of it's best-known mascot, Meezer. So http://nanasadiesplace.blogspot.com is the blog home I'm nurturing now.

Oh yes, Auntie Kitt, you got it right...I was nosing them around on the desk till Mom moved them out of reach, then I went after the red yarn she's making that neck-thing out of..ave-lin she calls it. I would keep her neck warm if she'd only ask! ...the Meezer
What a pretty kitty, SallEE! She is adorable.
Is she a Blue Point? She looks just like my uncle's. So pretty!
No, NoNoKitty, she's a Seal...all dark brown and beige, almost sable actually...but there isn't a single color of Siamese that isn't gorgeous! JMHO!
Cari Yes the Meezer is indeed a Siamese - Tonk's have aqua eyes, and a "more-square" jaw line. I love Tonks, too! But, tho' Meezer's eyes may look a bit on the aqua side in this shot, I can assure you they are sapphire! She's a Classic Meeze, not the Wedgie's bred for show today. Thank you for visiting my blog - I love reading yours!
