Long Awaited Holiday Weekend...
My Fourth of July started last night with a Red Lobster dinner and Nana Sadie Rose supplies shopping with my dear SIL (YES, I actually have 5 full days off in a row! This is just unheard of). My DA (Dear Assistant) is joining me this afternoon for a "cutting party" (might as well try to make it fun, right?) and preparations are in full swing for the Star City Cat Show next weekend (July 7-8) and also for order fulfillment from the Posy Sock Sack frenzy (Thanks, Wendy!).
But of course, normal routines and life continue, too...so this a.m. bright and early, after I ran to Starbuck's for a celebratory Iced Raspberry Mocha (have you tried this? YUM!) we started the day with laundry and The Meezer kept burrowing in the pile of sheets...
I knew it was in here, I have to SAVE it from that grumbly machine with all the swishing and swooshing...
Not going to run my tearstrip through the wash and make it yucky
She does indeed let her feelings be known, loudly...

My bun loves to burrow in blankets. The problem is that she destroys them in the process--biting holes in them and ingesting the fibers. It is pretty cute to watch her burrow around though. She plays peek-a-boo!
They do have their quirks don't they? Great photos of the kitty today.
yay kitty pics! I have a great one of Miss Honey up though admittedly it makes me nervous to look at that and think about my yarn!
Have a FANTASTIC stretch of days off and don't work TOO hard on the bags. Take time to sniff the roses too, ok?
Quincy was just burrowing in a pile of sheets this morning! Being a boy, the sheets were dirty. Of course.

oh i love the raspberry mocha hot, its like a raspberry filled dark chocolate, yum!
My favorite at Starbucks, summer or winter: Chai latte with soy... A vacation means RESTING. Have a lovely time!
