My first attempt at knitted hats...the second time I've made something (or second and third!) on dpns. Not too bad, and I was doing these on the fly with no real pattern, just some advice from Jane. I'm not sure, but I think the Calico Curmudgeon approves. She snuck into the photo and I didn't realize it till after the flash! See her on the left?

I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb!
