A WHOLE WEEK?

Where did the week (and of course, the weekend) go?

I'm sorry. I did not mean to let 7 whole days go by with no word from me at all! That's just not like me. Well, I can say that I've been busy busy at work (it's the weeks before the annual audit, dontcha know, and that means I'm scurrying to make sure everything is tip top for them when they arrive. When I've gotten home at night, there've been things to do and I'm tired tired tired, so I guess (I know, lame excuse)... I forgot?

(sigh)
Well, I can show you my accomplishment for this weekend at least:

Two new Teabird Spindle Bags - one with a shoulder strap and one with a wristlet strap. Aren't they cute? (And would you believe, neither one of those cat bags was an order from the cat show? No, I didn't think you would, but it's true!)

I've just made a batch of steel cut oatmeal with apples for this week's breakfast, and now must hurry to get the rest of the "chores" done before trying to get to bed early. The first week after the time change is always hard, so I try to get a little more rest (don't usually succeed, but I try!)

I'll leave you with a photo of my crew:

The Tonk is always after the camera strap!

It is good to see the Meezer in such good spirits with the Tonk nearby. Both of them have fur that shines...what a good Mom you are!

I'm glad to see from your post that you're hanging in there! Both of those bags are wonderful - what great fabric. And of course the kitties look like they were a big help :)

I hope your week goes smoothly, and that things gearing up for the audit go well!!

Kitties and writing! An irresistible combination. Cute bags!

I've been slogging through non profit tax returns - there are a few changes this year and my non profits are not necessarily happy with them.

Love that purple cat fabric. I wonder if I got one of those bags for my spindle would I suddenly have the talent to use it? lol :)
