I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Sewing is my business, knitting is my passion, tho' I'm a bit slow at it thanks to an arthritic thumb! It's never too soon to pack and repack!
Ha, ha... I can relate! My plan-ahead method is to leave the suitcase out somewhere, open and on the floor, and just keep throwing stuff in as I realize I want to take it, then organize at the end. This usually means not everything will fit, but gives me a chance to fine-tune and have everything I thought I wanted in one place. Do you think I'm too disorganized?
