I'm a young Nana to 5 grandchildren, mom to a DD, and I'm owned by my cats: three very special rescued kitties, a Tonkinese, a Siamese, and a newly whole Himalayan. They are known here as The Tonk, Mimi, and Moji, which is Hindi for Sock (appropriate, right?). I'm the cat mom as well, to the late Meezer who helped me start the Knitnana blog and whose spirit lives on in our home. Oh, dear! I don't think trying to separate the Meezer from her tear-strip is a good idea {g}.... Remember, our kitties are nocturnal and they're up and about while we're sleeping - that's when my skeins of yarn get turned inside-out..... Your sock might look far different in the morning if the Meezer were miffed..
