History of Knitting Story...
Well, years ago, I knitted him a scarf. I was really still a beginner at knitting, tho' I started knitting in my teens. I never fully grasped certain important things like holding tension in the yarn until this recent foray into my addiction. So you can imagine the pathetic nature of "the scarf."
Well, last week, elann sent out their newsletter and I spied a wondrous wool in a garnet color, just perfect for the "man from my past." I immediately copied the photo and enclosed it in an email, asking if he liked it enough that I could order it to make him a scarf.
What do you know? The reply was touching. He has one scarf to his name (doesn't like them, nothing against me, of course!) - the scarf I knitted all those years ago! He's kept it. Like I've kept all those scraps of paper...
Hmmm. I think this one's a keeper...

I am touched, and agree that he just might be a keeper! More men should embrace a little sentimentality, sure works with us women :)
