Bougie came to join my household just 2 weeks after the loss of Moji. I was a mess. I needed someone other than Mimi who is just an odd little duck. She was sad, too. But oh don't you know she hated (still does) Bougie. He was being rehomed from a household that was too busy, too many (people and pets). He revolted after a move to a house with towering ceilings and no softness to buffer the noise. And his daddy (who had once been Bougie's only) wasn't home enough to buffer either. Wife, kids, a dog and two more cats along with noises ricocheting around? What Siamese wouldn't put down his paw? Mom was incensed that he knew where the box was, he just wasn't using it.
He knew what to do. And after a couple of mis-steps in my house (because Mimi is intimidating as you know what) he stopped that nonsense and recognized that peace was worth being a good boy. And he is. Not quite the snuggle bunny Moji was, but you know Moji had a paw in sending him to me, don't you?
He's my first true purebred. Gorgeous, no?
