And as usual, we had a blast seeing old friends and customers and making new ones while we were at it!
This year, my Big Sis had a conflict (and a bit of an issue with her foot, too), that kept her from joining us, so my Dear Niece came along to round out the threesome we need to do the size show that National Capital Cat Show is. We really MISSED Big Sis, tho,' as much as we enjoyed having Dear Niece. She was good at using her GPS to find vegan food, too! Thank goodness, as it made life a lot simpler for me.
That photo showcases something really special - do you see the stand of little bags on the left? My sweetie found this neat "tree" only about 4 inches wide, and like a ladder at a Sears store that was closing it's doors. I wondered what on earth I would use it for, but was grateful. Then suddenly, it occurred to me that the Kaias and Little Bit Wristlets would hang nicely if I could find hooks for that purpose. And I did! I loved the display - it resembles, somewhat, a Christmas tree, don't you think?
We're back but I have to tell you that Nana Sadie Rose's plate is suddenly getting awfully full. I've been invited (and we're not 100% sure at this point, but we're considering it seriously) to the CFA World Championship Cat Show in Oak, PA in November. If we do this, it's really a one-shot deal, as they move about the country from year to year. This show is huge, with people from all over the world (hence the title, eh?). It's a really good opportunity, but I'm taking some time to consider it, and hoping my Dear Sis-in-Law will be able to help. We'll let you know a bit later on.
Funds have been sent out for two shows in the spring, too. I won't put them up yet on that ticker up there (oops! need to fix that one!) but as soon as I'm able to share the news, I will.
And now it's time to make up those orders from last weekend!
